Our client, a dynamic multi-media company, is in search of a Digital Media Coordinator to enrich their team.

About The Role:

As the Digital Media Coordinator, you will be tasked with the crucial responsibilities of sourcing and validating assets in alignment with service specifications, as well as managing the distribution of content to broadcasters and digital service providers.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the efficient, secure, and thorough intake and delivery of all digital assets into our platforms, adhering meticulously to the Delivery List.
  • Collaborate with diverse cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless flow of production media assets within the company, focusing on optimizing efficiency and implementing best practices.
  • Assess received metadata reports and collaborate with internal and external teams to resolve fundamental issues.
  • Support various initiatives aimed at enhancing the intake, review, sharing, and distribution of production media assets.
  • Monitor and manage a high-volume and time-sensitive order queue.
  • Validate metadata, image, video, audio, and timed text media assets against a variety of client and internal specifications.
  • Package source assets and metadata as per servicing profile specifications.
  • Document internal rejections and communicate them to the relevant teams.
  • Ensure the integrity of deliverables and delivery packages prior to servicing.
  • Maintain servicing action logs as necessary.
  • Undertake additional tasks as required to meet project deadlines.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in various media formats including video, audio, image, and timed text.
  • Familiarity with industry format standards such as PAL, NTSC, timecode, framerate, codec, audio settings/configurations, and metadata.
  • Understanding of media encoding, transcoding, and file transfer protocol.
  • Knowledge of Broadcast Deliverable Specifications.
  • Familiarity with Media Transfer Mechanisms such as Aspera, Signiant, etc.
  • Understanding of Media Content Protection and SOP Security Protocols.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, creative, and efficient in proposing solutions to complex, time-critical problems.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities and communication skills.
  • Capability and interest in working in a geographically diverse environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in Editing/Studio/TV/Film/Pre or Post-production.
  • Familiarity with UHD, HDR, 4k, 6k (Dolby Vision/HDR10).
  • Proficiency with metadata formats including XML, CSV, XLS, and HTML/CSS.
  • Experience with workflows spanning multiple locations across various time zones.
  • Quick learning ability and information processing skills are advantageous.

Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience working at an Entertainment or Media company.
