One of our agency clients is looking for a freelance Jr. Production/Talent Coordinator to join their integrated production operations team asap for a short-term position.
This freelance Jr. Production/Talent Coordinator will be responsible for contracting performers, preparing talent contracts, final cast lists and talent payment authorizations, as well as estimating sessions and residuals and managing talent budgets.
The freelance Jr. Production/Talent Coordinator must be organized, attentive to detail, and have previous entry-level agency experience. Any knowledge of Screen Actors Guild (SAG), American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA) and American Federation of Musicians (AFM) commercials contracts is preferred, but not mandatory.
Ideal freelance Jr. Production/Talent Coordinator candidates will have:
- BA degree in a related field preferred.
- Knowledge of Word and Excel.
- Candidates must be able to multi-task and perform in a team-oriented environment.
- At least 1+ year of production/talent experience in an agency setting.
- Must be able to prioritize a large volume of work.
Nice to have:
- Familiar with the Screen Actors Guild (SAG), American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA) and American Federation of Musicians (AFM) commercials contracts is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Comfortable managing contracts for performers, preparing talent contracts, final cast lists and talent payment authorizations.
- Able to handle estimate sessions and residuals, and manage talent budgets.
- Familiar with union audits, renegotiations, stock music licensing and tracking rights expirations for clients.
