Job Description:
As the Jr. Materials Developer you will support the Footwear Material Development team by managing all material references as well as associated data. This role includes the oversight and organization of the materials library as well as management of the material database. This is a crucial role ensuring a solid foundation for all material data and physical swatches providing efficient access for the development and design teams.
Responsibilities include:
• Material Database Management Maintain a comprehensive database of materials, including specifications, sources, and testing results while also performing relevant analytics when needed.
• Library Organization Organize and categorize materials for easy retrieval, including up to date toolbox management and apparel enterprise franchise materials to allow efficient use of resources.
• Seasonal Curation Maintain seasonal inspiration materials consistently culling materials and ensuring an “always on” inspirational space.
• Documentation Create and manage documentation related to material specifications, testing protocols, sustainability details and supplier information.
