Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join a dynamic finance team. The Accounting Manager will oversee the accounting operations, ensure compliance with GAAP, and provide strategic financial insights to support the company's growth objectives. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial reports.
  • Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits.

 

General Ledger Management:

  • Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
  • Ensure accurate and timely closing of the general ledger.

 

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and financial forecasts.
  • Monitor and report on budget variances.

 

Compliance and Control:

  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain internal control policies and procedures.
  • Ensure accurate and timely tax filings.

 

Strategic Support:

  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support overall company goals and objectives.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, including management roles.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
