Established apparel manufacturer seeking Girls toddler Designer to join their team.We are seeking a passionate Apparel Designer focused on Girls Toddler category who can bring fresh ideas to a growing brand. As a Toddler Apparel Designer, you will be responsible for creating and developing designs for girls' toddler clothing. Your role will involve researching current fashion trends, understanding the target market, and translating these insights into innovative and appealing designs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop seasonal design concepts and themes
- Create original sketches, illustrations, and technical drawings for girls' toddler clothing
- Select appropriate fabrics, trims, and colors that align with the brand's aesthetic
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends in toddler fashion
- Stay updated on industry developments and competitor offerings
- Work closely with production teams to ensure accurate execution of designs
- Participate in fittings to provide feedback on fit, construction, and overall quality
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience as an apparel designer specializing in toddler or children's clothing (girls preferred)
- Strong creative flair with a keen eye for color combinations and design details
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers/vendors
