Our client is seeking a talented Merchandise and Product Development Specialist to join their Sustainable Intimates brand.
This role is for the person who loves product, developing new ideas, love strategy, and who has a track record of growing a business by creating innovative, product concepts that engage and delight customers.
The merchandising product development manager will create seasonal merchandising strategies and plans with the approval of the president and creative director.
They will create synergy and a lifestyle strategy across all product categories, while maintaining the vision.
 
Develops a balance product assortment with a strong style, price, image and value relationship in order to achieve consistency with all classifications of business, encompassing women’s clothing, lingerie, sleep, swim, and men’s sleep and loungewear.
 
Execute a strategic virgin basing plan each season, maximizing margin, expectations, business opportunities, volume, and market share.
 
It is expected that the merchandising plans will address our department store specialty store online retail international market and e-commerce growth goals.
This involves working closely with the sales and design teams to forecast trends, and stock levels and monitor selling performance across all sales channels.
Will serve as the primary conduit between design sales retail e-commerce the global regional accounts and creative services team.
 
Will serve as the brand product expert at all internal and external customer meetings as necessary.
 
 
Primary responsibilities/accountabilities:
 
Define seasonal corridor and key launches, collaborate with support teams to ensure 360 visibility across retail, e-commerce, and wholesale buys through campaigns, social, trainings, and visual merchandising.
Liaise between design, production and sales to deliver directional product
Identify and communicate business opportunities clearly in a timely manner to Design and management
Work with Design to collections in Stage and finalize at show Sample stage Merchandise price points, strategically by class to margin and align with all divisions appropriately
 
Provide sales of proper tools to sell the line each season. This includes ownership, sensibility, product features and design concept.
Work with licensing partners, and reps to explore business opportunities in alignment with brand strategy
Review concept and development, sales department, communicate product and execute within design business opportunities
Verify the merchandising plan fits needs and expectations of the business goals ahead from competitors and build best in class products to be the lead leader in the field
 
Work closely with the president, the CFO, the creative Director, VP of production and sourcing to discuss product strategy opportunities and execute against them Develop product strategy plans based on LY sales information, opportunities, and account requests and market trends
 
Conduct weekly review selling recaps to develop a stronger understanding of what is working and what is not working so that this can be communicated to the Design team
Work closely with sales executives to businesses and strategize for growth to exceeded mutual organizational sales goals
Partner with e-commerce teams to maximize brand category presentation
Partner with international teams to hear specific feedback Consistently work with the creative team to establish clearly marketing initiatives that will continue to drive the image while also driving sales and excitement, frog global customer
