Our client, a known sports brand, is looking for a highly experienced People and Culture HR Manager to join their team!

The People and Culture Manager is a highly visible hands-on position driving people-centered functional excellence and process improvement. This role is critical in the management of the companies people initiatives including leadership and coaching, culture, employee relations, compensation and benefits, development and retention, talent acquisition and compliance.

Location- 100% ONSITE IN TORRANCE, CA (non negotiable) 
Salary-Up to $150K DOE

What You Will Do:
• Foster a high-performance culture with emphasis on quality, continuous improvement, development, loyalty
• Provide all HR generalist responsibilities and employee relations for the company
• Work closely with managers on plans of action designed to help the hiring and talent development needs
• Handle all recruiting responsibilities for the company with professionalism and success.
• Put action plans in place for retention and support of the company’s goals
• Drive an environment of compliance in everyday work
• Use organizational priorities and policy deployment to ensure brand is focusing on goals
• Recommend and maintain an organizational structure to achieve goals, objectives, and growth target
• Success in creating and driving effective employee relations, development, and retention programs
• Strength in recruitment, onboarding, off boarding, and termination
• Team-first mentality
• Experience with rapid and complex changing work environment
• Well-developed analytical skills
• Unquestionably high ethical standards and attention to reputational and compliance risks
• Ability to prioritize tasks in real time and exercise judgment in high-paced, high-stakes environment
• Clear and organized communications skills (written and verbal)
• Display and operate in a way that never compromises ethics and integrity, proactive in all dealings with agendas that are above board and understood by all; energy

Who You Are:
• Bachelor's Degree Required (SHRM or HRCI certification is preferred)
• 5+ years human resource experience
• Experience supporting exempt and non-exempt employees
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, knowledge of Paychex, HIRERIGHT, E-Verify
