Social Compliance QA/ Sourcing  Manager

Established Private Label Apparel Manufacturer has an immediate need for Social Compliance QA/ Sourcing Manager.  If you someone at Associate level looking to ensure social compliance and sustainability we love to hear from you.  In this role you will monitor international human rights standards and local labor / environmental laws in Supply Chain for the organization to ensure social compliance strategies and objectives are being met.

Responsible for monitoring international human rights standards and local labor/environmental laws in the supply chain
- Builds relationships with internal and external teams to ensure execution of missions at the factory level
- Gathers resources for reporting on conflict minerals from all factories yearly
- Maintains vendor setup for new accounts and reviews/processes master customer agreements as needed
- Disseminates customer standard updates to respective departments and updates internal production team on store requirements
- Communicates with overseas offices, agents, and factories as necessary
- Monitors/records/issues all QA, compliance, and factory compliance chargebacks
- Maintains knowledge of emerging social compliance trends and makes recommendations based on industry trends
- Represents the company in appropriate industry associations focused on social compliance
- Works with overseas team to track factory social audits, remediation, and reporting on supplier portal
- Reviews quality specifications and control procedures with overseas team
- Initiates HIGG facilities modules rollout to tier 1 suppliers
-Maintains updated information on sustainability for all stores on fabrics & trims
-Contributes to advancing sustainability efforts through participation in industry organizations
-Reviews store testing protocol as needed and coordinates quality testing activities
-Manages special projects such as completing annual customer CDPs, maintaining VMM news/updates, handling SLCP in conjunction with China RS associate
-Supervises one employee within the Shanghai department(s) RS Associate



-Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience; minimum 3–5 years of experience in social compliance or global manufacturing within private label apparel industry ideal
; excellent communication skills; ability to multitask under pressure.
