Client Overview: Our client is an iconic, global brand delivering classic and timeless accessories
Technical Designer Responsibilities:
- Executing the revisions to styles
- Execute design techs after review with designer creates photo tech packs
- Creates CADs and Techs for novelty faces with direction from Designer or Sr Design Director
- Updating BOMs for all styles in PLM platform
- Reviewing and commenting on all confirmation samples
- Reviewing PP and TOP samples and sending clear meaningful comments
- Assist manager keeping style library up to date
- Making sure all comments are sent in a timely organized manner
- Daily correspondence with overseas factories
- Attend weekly design meetings with design and PD teams to ensure all details are clear and meeting calendar dates
- Tracking of all samples
Technical Designer Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2+ years of work experience
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
- Understanding of product life cycle
- Team player with the ability to handle fast-paced work environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail oriented and a strategic thinker
