We are recruiting for a fast-growing consumer packaged goods (CPG) company that exists to make health and beauty simple for people of color. They do this by designing, developing,  and  testing  products  and  services  specifically  tailored for the community’s  needs.

Role Expectations:


Reporting  to  the  Senior  Marketing  Director,  the  Manager, Brand Marketing will be responsible for executing strategic marketing plans to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and sales growth. The Manager, Brand Marketing will collaborate with cross-functional teams to help develop strong, tactical plans to support integrated marketing campaigns, and will be responsible for executing those plans across various channels. The Manager, Brand Marketing will own and maintain a detailed marketing calendar for the brand, partnering with the Social Media Manager, Retail team, and other cross functionals to ensure all key dates and events are captured and supported with marketing plans. The Manager, Brand Marketing will also support the planning and execution of various brand events and partnerships throughout the year, including  physical  activation  and  coordination  of  ambassadors,  ordering  of  samples,  etc.  The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing strategy and campaign management, with a passion for driving measurable results.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead the execution of marketing campaigns to support key moments, new launches, and hero products based on strategy developed by Sr. Marketing Director
  • Participate in cross-functional planning meetings and own developing marketing-specific plans (experiential, sampling, retail-specific) to tie into broader marketing programs 
  • Maintain marketing calendar to capture all planned activity, maintain detailed log of all actual plans to communicate to organization, retailers, etc., and ensure project management of marketing programs to ensure on-time deliverables
  • Support execution of PR activities, in line with PR strategy developed by Sr. Marketing Director and PR agency
  • Own execution of Atlanta-based experiential events strategy and lead planning of all events, including physical activation and coordination of ambassadors, ordering of samples, etc. 
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align marketing initiatives with overall business objectives and drive integrated campaigns.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and customer insights that inform marketing strategies and tactics
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3 years of experience in marketing roles, preferably with experience in a managerial or leadership position
