Job description

Our client, a fastest growing technology company in the logistics market, are looking for a Business Analyst to join their team! You’ll own the business requirement analysis and communications with internal and external stakeholders. You will translate business requirements into technical terms and work closely with the UX/UI team, conveying the UX needs and UI implementation.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research (including competitive/comparative/market analysis) within the business
  • Define requirements based on a clear, consistent needs assessment from stakeholders and develop technical requirements which encompasses use cases (UML)
  • Perform requirement analysis, working with internal and external stakeholders
  • Lead ongoing reviews of business requirements
  • Create and maintain POCs (in conjunction with product owner and manager) and RFPs
  • Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and users
  • Discover, organize, and clarify business needs/ideas and review/produce specifications for change
  • Responsible to come up with test/use cases which are then eventually passed to QA (Define test cases and execute user acceptance testing and provide results)

Required Skills & Experience:
  • At least 5 years of experience in business analysis, reporting and analytics within a software or technology development environment
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Economics discipline
  • Experience with creating and managing dashboards using data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Confluence/JIRA)
  • Advanced understanding of database structures, query optimizations, ETL development
  • Start-up, consulting, or other demonstrated experience in high-growth, fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Strong project management and self-directed prioritization skills
  • Experience working with product design, customer operations teams and tools (e.g. ticketing, account management, communications tools)
  • Experience in training and development or the creation of training materials is a plus
