Our client, a vibrant and dynamic restaurant group located in the heart of Venice Beach, CA is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Admin Assistant to support our Human Resources department during a busy period.

Job Summary: The HR Admin Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative support to the HR team, ensuring the efficient operation of HR functions. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, possesses strong communication skills, and is eager to contribute to a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support:
    • Assist with day-to-day HR administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and document management.
    • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
    • Handle correspondence and communication with employees and external partners.
  • Recruitment Assistance:
    • Coordinate interview schedules and communicate with candidates.
    • Assist in the onboarding process, including preparing new hire paperwork and conducting orientations.
    • Post job openings on various platforms and screen resumes as needed.
  • Employee Relations:
    • Address employee inquiries and provide timely responses or redirect to appropriate HR personnel.
    • Support HR initiatives and programs to foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Compliance and Reporting:
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
    • Assist in preparing HR reports and presentations.
  • Event Coordination:
    • Assist in organizing employee events and meetings.
    • Coordinate logistics for training sessions and other HR-related activities.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in an administrative or HR role preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Working Conditions:

  • Must be available to work full-time on-site in Venice Beach, CA.

Rate: $21-25/hour DOE 
Duration: Temp, 2-3 months
