Job description

This is a full-time Influencer Relations role located in Los Angeles. The Influencer Relations Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to build relationships with key influencers to drive brand awareness and growth.

 

The ideal candidate will have a passion for the beauty industry and experience engaging with influencers on social media platforms, developing influencer programs, and managing partnerships directly with influencers and content creators. They will also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, be a self-starter who can work independently but also contribute to team efforts, and have a creative eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and research potential influencers and content creators that feel brand aligned and meet our industry needs
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with influencers and grow and nurture long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborate with influencers on content creation, product launches, and campaigns that align with our brand messaging.
  • Coordinate influencer events, always-on gifting strategies, and influencer activations to maintain brand loyalty and affinity.
  • Negotiate and manage influencer partnerships, including compensation and contractual agreements.
  • Track and analyze influencer marketing campaigns to measure their impact and ROI.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging influencers
  • Monitor social media platforms for mentions, reviews, and engagement related to the brand, and provide recommendations for organic, paid, and digital use.
  • Partner cross-functionally to manage paid influencer and UGC strategies including vetting creators, filtering options, managing agreements and payment
  • Assist team with content creation including filming and aggregating influencer content and UGC for social channel needs.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in influencer relations or influencer marketing within the beauty and lifestyle industries.
  • Strong knowledge of influencers (mega-nano), social media platforms, and trends.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop unique and engaging influencer campaigns.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for beauty (especially hair).
