Job description

Apparel company is looking to hire a TEMP Logistics Associate! This is an onsite based role located in DTLA.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Receive incoming and prepare out going shipments
  • Verify accuracy of received items against purchase orders or invoices
  • Be able to handle high volume logistic transactions
  • Prepare shipping documents and labels
  • Knowledge of retailer routing guides
  • Verify supplier packing lists and packing
  • Communicate with customer and suppliers logistics teams for accuracy in shipping and routing
  • Coordinate with carriers for timely delivery of outgoing shipments
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and stock reconciliation
  • Operate warehouse management system (WMS) to track and manage inventory
  • Very and confirm HTS codes based on garment, construction, fabrication

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Computer skills required: Microsoft Office Suite; PLM systems, Netsuite; Willingness to learn new software programs; familiarity with EDI.
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills (to include good listening & negotiation skills, must have the ability to present at leadership level)
  • Must be flexible and can function in a fast-paced environment, with competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate and work as a team, transcending different cultures, geographies & time zones.
  • Ability to develop efficient processes, review & refine; always striving for continuous improvement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
