24 Seven is partnering with a top global sportswear client to help them find a Product Analyst for this onsite position in Portland, OR. This is a 2 month contract starting ASAP with high likelihood to extend.This position supports the Business Product Management (BPM) Director for Global Procurement.
Responsibilities:
• Manage intake process (in Confluence & JIRA) of enhancement requests submitted by stakeholders, in collaboration with key suppliers
• Manage the JIRA backlog of program enhancement requests, including:
o Working with submitters to ensure sufficient and clear information on each request is documented;
o Working with the External Workforce and Business Product Management Directors to prioritize enhancement requests;
o Preparing prioritized backlog items for review by the Business/Technology Change Control Board (CCB) meetings
o Manage backlog items approved by the CCB through the various stages of CCB approval
• Work with technology and key suppliers to ensure sufficient documentation and resourcing is created for developing, testing, and releasing prioritized enhancements
• Support the BPM Director in running the CCB meetings, including taking notes, following up on action items, scheduling and preparing for required pre/post meetings, etc.
• Maintain the JIRA backlog throughout the enhancement process, from ideation through to release to production, with accurate documentation
• Work with Technology, key suppliers, and business stakeholders to design, coordinate, and test enhancements prior to release
Required Skills
- Preferred 5+ years of product analyst experience
- Advanced JIRA and Confluence skills
- Business requirements gathering & definition
- Project management
- Product backlog management
- Knowledge of change & release management processes
- Knowledge of software development methodologies, e.g. Waterfall, Agile, Incremental, etc.
- Knowledge of Software as a Service (SaaS) and cloud-based solutions
