Pay Rate: $31.50-$33.50
Eastern or Central time preferred 
Contract through end of the year 

This position is about channel sales growth and increased sales efficiencies. The role is responsible for supporting account managers and advancing  partnerships using data, category insights and research coupled with enthusiasm and passion.  You will bring a customer focus and sales obsession approach to communicating and understanding opportunities for retail partners. Utilizing weekly/monthly POS reports, you will help identify the appropriate action plans to maximize sales, inventory productivity and manage bulk liabilities.  Constant alignment across the channel sales team will be needed for ultimate success. Excellent relationship and organizational skills are required, in addition to an analytical and strategic approach. Previous successful account management experience is not critical, the ability to learn and understand what factors and communication drive efficiencies and sales growth are critical though.  The number one goal for the sales team is to build strategic partnerships and collaborate with retail and internal partners, while delivering against sales KPI’s.

Responsibilities
      1. Support channel sales account manager across all sales functions
      2. Drive full year calendar planning, including hot markets and special events
      3. Research and understand the customer base - business goals, objectives, and challenges
      4. Drive weekly sales updates, track progress to monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
      5. Ability to communicate recommendations and new program ideas effectively to the appropriate level of leadership with our retail partners
      6. Analyze weekly POS for key accounts, manage bulk inventory and present sales opportunities for replenishment and AO to drive revenue
      7. Manage content and growth of our ECOM business with key accounts
      8. Preparation and communication of weekly ATS, inventory reports and sales programs
      1. Create, update, and maintain standard weekly selling reports, customer portal and drive chase strategies specific to each retailer
      2. Use size, store, color, and team analyses update replenishment parameters to improve store/door sell-through
      3. Use league and team schedules to analyze market competition and trends
      4. Attend vendor meetings with team as needed
Requirements
      1. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
      2. Demonstrated ability to build customer relationships that resulted in sales growth
      3. Must be able to maintain effective internal relationships to facilitate sales
      4. Proven track record of identifying growth opportunities that resulted in sales growth through POS data and analytics.
      5. Demonstrated passion for professional or college sports (NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL)
      6. Strategic selling skills
      7. Excellent communication skills (oral, written, presentation)
      8. Excellent organizational and planning skills    
Strong computer skills to include Excel and Word
