Job Overview:
Our client is seeking a strategic Senior Director of Brand Marketing to add to their fast-growing team. This role will be responsible for building the 360-marketing strategy, PR, experiential/events, partnerships, influencer marketing (paid and organic), and social media.
** Beauty & Sephora experience required.**
Responsibilities:
- Define communications strategy, conceptualize and develop marketing initiatives and manage marketing planning processes.
- Plan and manage brand marketing budget across social content creation, paid influencer, PR & events, upper funnel awareness campaigns.
- Support brand-led retail marketing strategy by executing to best practices for Sephora, Amazon and other key retail partners.
- Ability to analyze and make strong recommendations based on data from consumer and channel insights to optimize day to day performance of marketing efforts.
- Familiarity with all key reporting platforms from Tribe Dynamics/Creator IQ to Google Analytics, consumer research and survey tools, etc.
- Ability to influence and play a key role in guiding cross functional strategies and workflows.
- Collaborate with product development and ops teams.
- Provide forecasting and planning support to retail and ops leads based on marketing investment.
- Ability to build, lead and manage a high performing team as the business scales
- Ability to be hands-on in the day to day and level up to executive leadership with board level exposure.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in marketing.
- Ideally located in NYC or LA - they are all remote for now, but are looking to put down roots in one of those areas.
