Job Summary: The Senior Manager of Digital Analytics will lead digital analytics, driving the strategy and execution of data-driven insights to optimize marketing performance. This role requires a seasoned professional with deep expertise in digital analytics, exceptional strategic vision, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable marketing strategies.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Leadership and Strategy:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive digital analytics strategy that aligns with the company’s marketing goals and objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing team of digital analysts, data scientists, and marketing technologists.
  • Foster a data-driven culture within the marketing department, emphasizing the importance of data insights in driving marketing decisions.

 

Data Management and Analysis:

  • Oversee the collection, processing, and analysis of digital marketing data from various channels (e.g., website, social media, email, PPC, SEO).
  • Ensure the quality, accuracy, and integrity of digital marketing data through robust data governance practices.
  • Utilize advanced analytical techniques, including attribution modeling, customer segmentation, and predictive analytics, to enhance marketing effectiveness.

 

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, sales, IT) to understand their data needs and deliver tailored digital analytics solutions.
  • Communicate complex data insights and marketing performance metrics in a clear and compelling manner to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to optimize campaign performance through data-driven insights and recommendations.

 

Innovation and Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in digital analytics and marketing.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in digital analytics.
  • Drive innovation by exploring new tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance digital marketing performance.

 

Performance Measurement and Reporting:

  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of digital marketing initiatives.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports that provide ongoing visibility into marketing performance and key metrics.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and present findings to senior leadership, providing actionable insights and strategic recommendations.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital analytics, with at least 2 years in a leadership role supporting marketing functions.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful digital analytics strategies.
  • Strong proficiency in digital analytics tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data insights into marketing strategies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and analytically.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a team.
  • Experience in data governance and ensuring data quality and compliance with relevant regulations.
